Since 2017, Drop In Life Drawing has supported creative expression through untutored sessions with curated playlists to enhance inspiration, offering a welcoming space for artists at every level of drawing experience.
Drawing on Kat Bak’s own practice in creative exploration, including drawing, meditation, yoga, and free dance, these practices have influenced the sessions to deepen focus, presence, and fluidity in the drawing experience.
Drop In Life Drawing began in Byron Bay before relocating to Melbourne in 2019. Since then, these inspiring sessions have participated in festivals and events across Melbourne’s vibrant art scene.
Materials are free to use, including paper, boards, charcoal, graphite pencils, coloured pencils, oil pastels, sharpeners
& erasers. BYO easels & boozy drinks.
